The only other decent game besides the one ranked matchup we had between Michigan and Wisconsin earlier in the day is USC-UCLA. You can always get me up for a rivalry game, even if it isn’t the best matchup. Just a little taste of what we’re going to see next Saturday. Plus, I’m ready to see those two QB’s go at it. We could have some NFL draft implications tonight.
So let’s head to USC for your Saturday college girl of the day and meet Kailee. She’s straight outta Mailbu.
The college football slate on Saturday is abysmal. The entire board stinks, so for your Friday college girl of the day we’re going to old faithful Florida State, instead of the normal girl from a school with a big game that weekend.
It’s actually been a few weeks since we’ve been to FSU, which might be a BC record because I’m pretty sure we could post a new girl from Tallahassee every day if we really wanted to. So let’s meet Lydia. Go give her a follow on IG because she’s sitting at just over 2k followers and that number should be much higher.
If you haven’t looked at the college football slate this weekend and you’re expecting another Saturday like the last one, well you might as well not even look. The slate is awful, especially after we’ve been spoiled these last two weekends.
Somehow the best game and only ranked matchup of the day is Wisconsin-Michigan. The Fighting Harbaughs are a long shot to get to the Big Ten title game, but they’re important because they can still do A LOT of damage to the conference as far as CFB Playoff hopes go. They can really create the chaos with a win against undefeated Wisco on Saturday.
With that said, let’s meet Keely from Michigan, who’s an Alpha Phi and the UM Bumble campus director.
Just when you think the Bush family responsible for Rachel Bush was done pumping out IG superstars, along comes Rachel’s younger sister who just happens to be following in her older sister’s footsteps by attending FAU and joining the Bills Mafia to cheer on future brother-in-law Jordan Poyer.
You couldn’t ask for a better scenario for these Bush sisters. They lived the tough life at FAU where the weather is constantly perfect and then they get to party their asses off as part of the Bills Mafia. This is just how 2008 Busted Coverage would draw it up. You know what never happens at a school like Kansas? The football team never hires guys like Kiffin at FAU & they never have students like the Bush sisters. This stuff only happens in Florida. Every single time. It’s in the water there.
Celebrated for her role on the Freeform drama Chasing Life (and her comedic charm as a guest star on Comedy Central’s Drunk History) El Paso-born actress Jessica Meraz is an insatiable young talent. And now the actress joins the cast of TNT’s hit drama series Major Crimes as Detective Camila Paige, a character who is struggling financially and emotionally following the death of her parents.
Major Crimes first aired in 2012 as a continuation spin-off of The Closer andnow in its sixth and final season, the show will look to wrap up its suspenseful storylines. “There’s action, suspense and heartbreak,” Meraz says of the final season. “Really, the writers hit it out of the park. They’re giving the fans everything they could hope for and more.” Meraz says that the process of joining such a dramatic television show was “really fun and really different.” The actress grew up in Texas with a close-knit family, so she’s still very much connected to the small town and makes a point to go back as much as she can. “I visit very often, almost once every six weeks. It’s definitely shaped me in every way,” she admits.
Being given the opportunity to truly stretch her acting skills has been challenging but she appears to be thriving alongside a cast made up of Mary McDonnell, G.W. Bailey and Anthony Denison.
With Major Crimes underway, fans can also expect to see Meraz tap into her sense of humor in the upcoming YouTube Red comedy series called Do You Want to See a Dead Body? starring alongside Terry Crews and Rob Huebel.
The Buffalo Bills graced us with random quarterback news today as they benched Tyrod Taylor for Nathan Peterman. Who the hell is Nathan Peterman? He’s a rookie out of Pittsburgh who was selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft.
Peterman made his first pro appearance this past Sunday, throwing for 79 yards and a touchdown in garbage time. Nothing crazy, but he technically did outperform Taylor, who was dreadful with 56 yards and an interception before getting pulled late.
Off the field, Peterman is married to his college sweetheart, Morgan Shull. They met in 2012 while they were both attending the University of Tennessee. (Nathan transferred to Pitt in 2015.)
Morgan graduated Tennessee with a degree in sports management and worked as an ballpark operations intern/assistant for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Arizona State’s football team maybe inconsistent as hell (wins over Washington, Oregon; recent loss to UCLA), but they never fail to deliver a strong College Girl of the Day candidate. Today we have Jill — check out her gallery above.
The Miami Hurricanes are all the rage in the college football world these days (up to No. 2 in the AP Poll!), so we obviously have to hit The U for our College Girl of the Day — Delta Phi Amy. Check out her gallery above and maybe toss her a follow on IG.
Colorado fell to a disappointing 5-6 on the season after losing to USC on Saturday, but not all is lost! The Denver Postnotes the team can still crash a bowl game if they beat Utah next weekend. It would be just their second bowl game this decade, so yeah, kind of a low-key big game.
As for our College Girl of the Day, that honor goes to Marissa. She’s isn’t letting the bad football stop her from attending games this season — check out her gallery above and maybe give her a follow on IG.
Going into the season, this Patriots-Broncos game tonight would’ve been one to get excited about. You have the defending champs vs that awesome Broncos D and a rematch of the 2015 AFC title game. It should’ve been a good game, but now I’m looking at it and I’m seeing Brock Osweiler’s corpse is trotting out there QB for Broncos and I’m thinking twice about that.
Luckily, I’m into disaster football and it’ll still be fun to have the Brocketship potentially throwing a thousand interceptions on national TV. For the rest of you, let’s meet Patriots cheerleader Andrea, just a little something to get you gassed up for the game.
