When it comes to NBA couples, Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha’s love is a slam dunk. The pair met at church when they were teenagers, and though they didn’t start dating right away, they got married in 2011 after three years together. They have two beautiful daughters, Riley, 4, and Ryan, 1, and besides sharing adorable photos of their sweet family on Instagram, they also post the cutest couple moments. See the sometimes goofy and always aww-inducing Instagram snaps of the all-star couple.
John Cena might have muscles for miles, but the pro wrestler is actually a big teddy bear at heart. At a recent wrestling match, the Trainwreck actor continued his reign of being one of earth’s most lovable humans by making the night of a young superfan with Cerebral Palsy. Payton Marion, 12, traveled to meet John — who currently holds the title for the most wishes granted by a celebrity for the Make-a-Wish Foundation — with his devoted dad, Justin, who told E! News that Payton is obsessed with John because «he always seemed to be the winner.» (Same, Payton.) Justin was actually the reason Payton fell in love with the sport to begin with, since he wanted to share an interest with his son. «Payton and I have always been very competitive. We would wrestle each other at home and Payton just had to win,» he continued. «It started a few years ago when he got too old for cartoons. I introduced him to what I used to watch at his age.»
Not only does Payton just enjoy watching John do his thing on TV, but the wrestler plays a major part in the preteen’s physical therapy, since Justin plays videos of John’s moves to inspire his son to exercise his arms. When the WWE’s tour was on its way to Tennessee, Justin made it his mission to have Payton meet his hero and started a GoFundMe page to raise enough money to pay for VIP tickets. They received enough donations within two days to go, and as you can see in the video above, Payton loved every minute. «The fact that I could make one of his dreams come true and not let him down was amazing,» Justin said. «I literally felt like Superdad.» Superdad is probably an understatement.
March 17th isn’t just the day where everybody in America wears green and celebrates a number of offensive Irish stereotypes. It’s also John Boyega’s birthday, which is a much better holiday if you ask me, because at least John Boyega’s never ignored centuries of oppression that his own ancestors faced in order to prop up a cruel form of nativism that punishes new immigrants to his country (and before you start in, I am a full-blooded generation Irish-American and you don’t get to stop me from collecting my people. Read this New York Times opinion piece and sit all the way down).
But even though John presumably knows what day his birthday is every year, he was still delightfully surprised when the cast and crew of Pacific Rim stopped to serenade him while on set. Look at his sweet little smile! Look at him trying to awkwardly conduct the crowd with his hands! Bless this beautiful man and his amazing haircut.
He also posted his own video earlier in the day of a birthday dance party, which is equally beautiful and which makes me briefly forget all the troubles in the world. There are a lot of troubles in the world, so that’s saying something.
Jason Momoa’s Game of Thrones character, Khal Drogo, hasn’t been on the show since the end of season one, but he’s still very much . . . around. In addition to Khal still holding a special place in the heart of his onscreen wife, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jason and the actress are also good friends in real life. When they’re not hitting red carpets together or casually hanging out away from the spotlight, Jason is usually posting something about «the moon of my life» on Instagram, frequently sharing screenshots of Emilia kicking ass on the show. While their Game of Thrones romance was a bit controversial, there is not one thing about their adorable real-life friendship that we don’t love.
